Easy installation & setup checklist
The enecess E2401 ecoMain is designed for straightforward installation in a distribution board, with DIN-rail mounting, clip-on ecoSensors and guided app configuration. Correct phase identification and matching are essential for reliable operation.
1. Identify the system phases
Confirm the main supply phases L1, L2 and L3, then identify the phase of each branch circuit you want to monitor.
2. Mount ecoMain
Install ecoMain on the DIN rail and connect either the Wi-Fi antenna or Ethernet cable. Optional ecoSub expansion modules can be mounted and connected at the same stage.
3. Connect power and ecoSensors
Connect the power conductors to the correct phases, install the 100 A ecoSensors on the main circuits and the 30 A ecoSensors on selected branch circuits. Sensor direction and phase matching must be checked carefully.
4. Complete the final checks
Before powering the system, verify phase matching, sensor assignment, sensor direction and insulation of unused wires.
5. Set up the enecess app
Add ecoMain to your account, configure Wi-Fi if required, assign circuit names and phases, bind the monitored circuits and start monitoring. Ethernet connects automatically.
Installation notice: Disconnect power before installation. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Meter data analysis, visualisation and reporting
We have created an Excel template that can analyse the data and visualise it with graphs. It has the following features and graphs.
- Maximum power per minute, hour and day
- Energy usage per minute, hour and day
- Maximum voltage per minute, hour and day
- Limit data displayed to a specific day or hour
- Supports three-phase and single-phase setups
This template and support with importing the data and using the template are included free of charge when purchasing this meter.
The template is very easy to use even for users that is not that familiar with Excel. We have also created step by step instructions document and video.
Warranty
All measurement instruments sold by AmpX are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty (typically 24 months on the main instrument, 12 months on accessories such as test leads, clamps and batteries). Exact terms are stated on the warranty card supplied with the device.
